The aims of this course are for delegates to explore the different senses we have, consider what is sensory loss and what causes sensory loss & examine different ways of communicating with someone with sensory loss including Autism and working with Autistic people.

Day 3 – Practice delivery of a session from the enrolled course
The aim of this course is for delegates to understand; why the Team Leader role is important & how it is part of the home management/ leadership team, what teams look for from their Leaders, how to lead from the front as a Leader, key elements to managing people, getting the best out of teams & ensuring teams meet set targets, who to problem solving & how to successfully manage poor performance of team & individuals, understand the importance & skills of successful delegation & the skills and approaches to ensure every shift is managed effectively and in line with home expectations and standards.
