The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care qualification is designed to develop both managerial and care skills and fulfils the regulatory requirements of those in a leadership/managerial role in an adult residential care setting or domiciliary service.
To complete this course, you must be a registered care manager or an assistant/deputy manager.
You will be assigned a friendly specialist management tutor who will guide you through the work needed and will also visit you in your workplace to observe you.
Independent learning – for Level 5 courses, you are expected to be at a level where you are able to study independently, therefore you have the opportunity to complete as many assignments as you want in your own time and in your own location. Our experienced assessor will still be on hand to answer queries by email or over the phone and can provide one-to-one workshops if required.
Meetings with your assessor – on this flexible course, you are encouraged to meet with your assessor regularly as this is the best way to discuss progress, receive feedback and gain advice and help with the standards that you are working on to achieve the qualification. You can choose to meet your assessor as many times as you like and they can visit you in your workplace to make it easier for you. Observations can also be organised in the workplace.
