Level 3 Awareness of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (RQF)

The qualification introduces learners to the Mental Capacity Act 2005 to support implementation of the Act in the sector. It provides an opportunity to develop knowledge of the subjects.

Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above.

Progression

Successful learners can progress to other qualifications such as:

  • Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health Care (RQF)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care
